Germany's nuclear phase-out – too advanced to reverse?

As Germany grows the share of renewable energy in its power mix, it also continues to shrink its fleet of power plants. Higher electricity prices and a growing reliance on imports is prompting concerns the country may soon have too few power stations to cope with periods of low solar and wind generation. Critics of Berlin’s nuclear exit are becoming more vocal, but a German nuclear revival remains improbable.
