Sink or float – Norway seeks investors for offshore wind

Norway plans to push ahead with its first tender for the construction of a large-scale floating offshore wind farm early next year, despite industry concerns over rising costs and insufficient state support. Energy minister Terje Aasland says developing floating wind power is very important in terms of boosting not only the country’s energy supply, but also its manufacturing industry.
