Austria rushes to avoid gas supply squeeze

Austria is heavily reliant on Russian gas, with around 80% of its imports still coming from Gazprom. But this supply route could be cut off at the end of December, as Ukraine is unlikely to renew the transit deal that allows Russian gas to flow into Austria. With the clock ticking, Austria will soon be scrambling to secure new sources to meet its energy needs.
